The Meadow Lake Branch

We finally went to church in Meadow Lake and met the few dedicated members they have here. They meet in the old bus depot. There are only about 18 people that attend on a regular basis and only 6 or 7 of them are adults. It is basically a few young families with children. Once you get inside and sit down and have sacrament meeting it feels just like home! Such friendly people that are SO happy to have you there. They had one investigator there today. The branch president asked Davis to teach sunday school earlier in the week as he was going to be away on sunday. It was a nice way to throw us right in there. They do not have nursery. All the children meet together for primary. It is too bad that we only have two more weeks left and will not really get to know these people. They seem so happy and content in there little branch.

 

Thomas is really starting to grow up and is learning new things everyday. He is starting to communicate and say more words. Here is a clip of little Thomas saying "uh-oh"!
